Kilometre Project
Jackie Cantrell

It would take about 1250-1650 pieces of clothing lined up one after the other to reach a kilometre depending on the length and size. Think about how many articles of clothing that would be that go to waste every year.
I wanted to show an actual number for how much “fast fashion trends” really impact our earth, through both pictures and a calculation.

The way I would show it in a gallery is I would literally take 1250-1650 pieces of clothing and pile it together to show an accurate representation of that kilometre and also how big of an amount that really is in clothing waste.
